4th International summer school on circular bioeconomy and sustainable developmente

5-9 SEPTEMBER 2022, hybrid 

With the global focus on Circular Bioeconomy, the key players are the new generation of experts and managers who possess a broad educational background and can cover the entire spectrum of this multidisciplinary and cross-sectoral field. Within this framework, we would like to invite students and young scientists to participate in the 4th Summer School to be organized Live at Perrotis College (American Farm School), Thessaloniki, from 5 to 9 September 2022.

Familiarization of students with current trends in Bioeconomy Increased interest in the particular Balkan region Introduction of new aspects and perspectives in sustainability and development Hands-on Student involvement

Regular Fee: 250€
Limited Number of Fellowships upon application

The fee includes expenses for Summer School participation, coffee breaks, light lunch, dinner in Thessaloniki Center (Monday 5th), and the grill party (Friday 9th). Web attendance is free of charge. ACCOMMODATION

At the American Farm School Campus, there are 14 apartments with 2 individual double rooms. The price is 35€/person/day including breakfast. The reservation will be based on priority registration. For participants that wish to stay in the city center, the organizers have secured special prices at the Metropolitan Hotel (Tato e-mailová adresa je chráněna před spamboty. Other: There are plenty of Airbnb options and hotels in the city center to explore independently.

NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS

Up to 60, preferably graduates and at relevant Master's and above level from the entire European Continent. A number of Secondary School Teachers, as multiplicators, will be considered. Applicants will be selected based on the submission of a short CV.
Participants are encouraged to make travel and accommodation arrangements as early as possible to minimize the cost.

INVITED SPEAKERS

A number of prominent speakers, as well as young researchers and entrepreneurs with experience in the field, will be presenting the current state of knowledge and applications of Circular Bioeconomy. Please send your registration application to obtain the payment information and
