International projects

BBioNets creates a thematic network that will build on, support, and develop the work of the EIP AGRI operational groups in the field of agricultural and forest biomass management and/or processing using biotechnology-based technologies.

BEAMING aims to increase excellence by fostering innovation and knowledge valorisation in the bioeconomy through collaboration between higher education institutions, with a particular focus on Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and South Eastern Europe (SEE) countries, EU Member States, and the Western Balkans. Under the leadership of TTK (Hungary), the BIOEAST HUB CR team is leading the Alliance of Partners and assisting WIDENING country universities with community building.

BIO2REG supports European regions in their transformation to a circular economy by promoting education training, linking regions and cooperation.

Identifying bio-based solutions for waste management applicable to the humanitarian sector

The BIOEAST HUB CR team helps to create a BIObec educational center oriented to the BIOEAST macro region within the project led by the University of Bologna of the BIOBec project supported in the last BBI-JU call, the project was launched in September 2021.

The BIOEAST HUB CR team participates in the implementation of an international project under the leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture of Hungary, supported by INTERREG Central - Cooperation for a Greener Europe, the project has started in April 2023.

The BIOEAST HUB CZ team participates in the implementation of an international project led by CIVITTA ESTONIA LTD supported within Cluster 6, the project was launched in June 2022.

The BioINSouth project aims to support decision-makers to incorporate considerations of ecological limits into their regional bioeconomy strategies and roadmaps relevant to circular bio-based activities. BIOEAST HUB CZ is well-positioned to act as a model and guide the establishment and operation of BioINSouth Regional HUBs.

The BIOEAST HUB CZ team participates in the implementation of an international project under the leadership of the Iniziativa Centro Europea – Se-IT gretariato Esecutivo. supported under Cluster 6, the project has started in October 2022 .

The BIOEAST HUB CR team coordinates activities related to education for the bioeconomy, the macro-regional thematic group and the BIOEAST Uni Net, supports the creation of other national BIOEAST HUBs in Central and Eastern Europe and inter-ministerial groups. The project is coordinated by the OEMKI research institute from Hungary.

This project is supported by the CBE-JU programme. It is an innovative action that creates new solutions for biomass processing, coordinated by CIRCE from Spain.
