International projects

The BIOEAST HUB CR team participates in the implementation of an international project led by bit management Beratung GmbH, supported under the ERASMUS+ program Cooperation partnerships in vocational education and training was launched in April 2022.

Pilots4U powered by COPILOT is co-creating a comprehensive, updated, expanded and future-proof database of European open access bioeconomy pilot and demo infrastructures embedded into a self-sustainable platform, further building on the already existing Pilots4U database, network and the experience gained. BIOEAST HUB CR developed the Com dis plan of the project and is continuously supporting all project activities.

The project supports the Danube Lighthouse of the European Water and Oceans Mission by creating pilot solutions in the Danube basin. The BIOEAST HUB CR team leads the project’s communication. The project coordinator is OVF (Hungary).

eNaBlS encourages transdisciplinary dialogue and further promotes and develops the concepts of nature-based solutions with the support of living laboratories and practical examples from universities.

The GREENHOOD project is demonstrating innovative strategies to prevent and reduce nutrient excesses. The project will foster regional nutrient circularity and introduce governance measures that incentivise sustainable practices through region-specific, systemic approach that balances nutrient flows while ensuring economic viability for farmers, industries, and policymakers. The demonstration sites are in Spain, Belgium and the Netherlands, Finland and Norway. BIOEAST HUB CR is contributing to governance model activities, oversees the execution of communication and dissemination activities in Central and Eastern Europe as well as contributes in the execution of “regional twinning” programmes.

Agricultural Research Troubsko Ltd. represents the Czech Republic in the H2020 BIOEASTsUP CZ project (www.BIOEAST.EU), which fulfils the goals of the BIOEAST initiative. BIOEAST HUB CZ was founded with the support of the BIOEAST Initiative and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic.

ManuREfinery is one of the projects that have been designed to change the approach to regulating livestock manure by turning it into valuable, bio-based products such as fertilizers and animal feed ingredients. BIOEAST HUB CR is leading the projects’ Dissemination and Communication activities.

Securing European’s drinking water. NIAGARA project develops strategies to offer a holistic solution to the widespread issue of water pollution focusing on understanding, monitoring and remediating contaminants in Drinking Water Treatment Plants.

Path4Med is an innovative project dedicated to tackling water and soil pollution in the Mediterranean area by incorporating sustainable agricultural practices and advanced monitoring technologies aiming to protect vital ecosystems, improve water quality and empower communities to create a pollution-free future. BIOEAST HUB CR is responsible for capacity building, training, and dissemination of the project’s results while also contributing to other project activities.

The BIOEAST HUB CR team participates in the implementation of the international project RURAL BioUP.

The BIOEAST HUB CR team participates in the implementation of an international project led by FRAUNHOFER GESELLSCHAFT ZUR FOERDERUNG DER ANGEWANDTEN FORSCHUNG E.V. supported under Cluster 6, the project has started in September 2022.

The VisegradFUND project encouraged involvement in international projects and provided training tailored to energy, creative thinking, management, to name a few; science coffee was also organized for students.
